Same here. With multiples of each. It's hard to avoid a deal on any P229, P226 or P220
Was in a gun shop a few days ago and they had an older German P226 in the case , if it were not for the new P226 I bought earlier in the year I would have most likely bought it. But having 2 P226s from different eras would not be a bad thing!

Did it have a rail? For carry, I like the rail-less frames better in the P226

That would have been a tough one for me to pass on
Yeah they have had it for a while , didn't expect it to be there last time. I might check back with them next time and see if they would be willing take a little less for it. I picked up a used P220 Carry not long ago so that was another reason I passed on spending more money this soon!

My lgs had a nickel P220 in the case for a long time. It did not have a box to indicate that it was factory, but it looked like it was. I thought a lot about that one but ended up buying a non nickel for about half the asking price elsewhere. It's nice to see an interesting Sig in an lgs, but if the price isn't right, it needs to stay there until the price meets the market

I could help you raise money for that.

The German P226 was $749 but not sure if it had the box and the extra mag or original grips. Had Hogue rubber grips. The German frame P220 Carry I won on auction for $630 with box and both mags , with shipping and taxes right at $700.

Gray Guns adjustable trigger installed in the p320. All other FCU parts are factory. Not a bad trigger upgrade. I’m sure the entire competition kit would provide a little cleaner break but at 3 1/2 pounds (5 pull avg) this upgrade brought the trigger from Average to Very Good.

The WCP320 with the full kit has a noticeably cleaner break - for comparison. Not sure if Wilson shines up this install when they put the gun together?

I found a triple serial number German 228 nickel slide with what looked like factory night sights for a little more than it should have been.

I asked the guy behind the counter if I could strip it and take a look…the gold frame rails made me cry, reassemble it and hand it back!

Another time I saw a 9mm browning bda for more than it should have been, as much as I would love one, and probably would have paid the asking price if they wouldn’t have come down, I didn’t even ask to look at it because it’d been cerakoated!

That's a good buy on both of those. The one that the LGS had for a while was $1100 I think. If it had been $800, I'd probably have it in my collection right now
