I think autosteer is one of the dumbest "features" to ever have been allowed on a vehicle and this proves it. If you’re too f'n lazy to actually pay attention and drive a car, stay out of cars and off the roads. Sheesh!

IMO, all first year drivers should only be allowed to operate manual transmission cars to gain the multitasking skills required to drive safely.

I mentioned this before, but under the right circumstances, my car's lane-keeping feature on curvey roads makes me grin.

As far as manual transmissions, I agree. Until you can downshift while turning a corner without spilling a drop, you do not get your driver's license.

Ha. I had that :poop: turned off before I ever got the car moving.

The article from Forbes wrt to Teslas is dismantled by the Brandon Paddock article.

In particular, the Forbes article quotes a LendingTree “analysis“ of requests for insurance quotes for Teslas (and other cars) by drivers who self-reported their driving histories. So it doesn’t measure actual accidents, it doesn’t verify the truth of driving histories, it doesn’t even tie the accidents reported to Teslas. It’s just a count of people who said they had an accident in the past and they’re now applying for auto insurance.

Using that to conclude Tesla drivers have more accidents is Brady-level gun control style argumentation.

Do read the entire Brandon Paddock article, it’s quite illuminating.

Road to zero-emission buses proves challenging for Minnesota transit agencies

Vendor issues, performance in subzero temperatures and charging station maintenance are among the challenges

Duke Energy is teaming up with the City of Bedford to construct some charging stations in town.

A republican dominated local government cannot resist free money for being part of the latest rage in virtue signaling.
