    Nah. I was saying the air all around is so crappy that it doesn't matter if you are moving or not, it is still the same crappy.

    It is a little possible that you get some of your own exhaust in your open windows when you stop - depending on the wind speed and direction and that stuff - and it is possible you are getting some of your own exhaust in your open windows when you are moving too - depending on how the open windows affect the air turbulence around the car - but when the air is already crappy it probably doesn't affect things much.
    Oh, so true. Some days my exhaust may be cleaner than the air.
