    1) I think the accepted description of your activity is: "Rollin' in my 5.0 with the ragtop down so my hair can blow. The girlies on standby, wavin' just to say hi. “Did you stop?” No, I just drove by"

    2) I spent Saturday at a tractor show with antique tractors belching gasoline, kerosene and diesel exhaust...and wood and coal smoke. It was great!
The girlies these days probably all want AC. Well I have 55-2 air conditioning, that is 55 miles per hour with two windows down!

I saw a lot of those antique small engines at a local historic venue here by Detroit. The smell is wonderful. I also like the smell of my car when it comes out of the auto shop.

So yur sayin that at speed I am still sucking in some of my own exhaust but that I don't realize it because it is mixing with the fresher air blowing in the windows?
Nah. I was saying the air all around is so crappy that it doesn't matter if you are moving or not, it is still the same crappy.

It is a little possible that you get some of your own exhaust in your open windows when you stop - depending on the wind speed and direction and that stuff - and it is possible you are getting some of your own exhaust in your open windows when you are moving too - depending on how the open windows affect the air turbulence around the car - but when the air is already crappy it probably doesn't affect things much.
