I'm glad I didn't see this photo before I worked over my P-01.

If anyone is looking for one, there is a PCR at ‘The Men’s Toystore’ in Nashville, IN for $569. While there, you can pick up a couple of cigars.

I took a somewhat easy day today. No shooting, some minor shopping for yard junk and then both of my son’s and my mother were here for a cookout. After the cookout, the boys and I enjoyed a couple of mediocre cigars and I had a bit of bourbon (they were driving later) in the ‘zen garden’. That’s the shady spot next to the yard barn that has a bench under a maple tree. All in all, one of the better days of the summer so far.

After they left, I cleaned the model 13 and tweaked the main spring to bring the trigger down to about 9 lbs. It was close to 12 before and it feels a whole lot better now. I don’t think that I’ll change the grips. If it proves reliable at 9 lbs, it will go into the carry rotation later this fall when a good holster comes in for it. I don’t know what it is, but that 3” K frame just speaks to me. I’m really loving the wheel guns right now.

The wife and her daughter went up to Chicago to see "Hamilton". I trimmed trees in the front yard today. There will be a glow in the sky visible from space in about 2-3 weeks.

I had a lazy day. The heat zapped the energy out of the puppy so I took advantage and enjoyed the Shark Week re-runs before the new episodes started tonight.
