Aha ! All of this talk makes me want a green P01 even more .... but not for the asking price.
I shall post a photo of a small bird surrounded by Fall regalia ..... and will sleep on the beauty (or not) of a green CZ. If only it were bountiful BLUE !!!

WTS: - Traded….OD Green CZ P-01

I have a fairly uncommon CZ 75 P-01 in OD Green. It has a NATO Serial Number and is NATO approved. Don’t know numbers but I know the OD Green version is fairly rare and goes for a good bit on auction sights. I am looking for $800 or an offer. Comes with box and paperwork and everything as new...

The one in the pic above is now owned by my niece. I used to take her to the range with me and when she shot that gun, she fell in love with it. I sold it to her dirt cheap and just asked her yesterday if she wanted to sell it back to me and her answer was an emphatic NO...

More progress from this room I found down the hallway....

Added some Talon grip granulate (sandpaper) texture material to the front strap of the DW A2. For right now, this gun is done with upgrades. Down the road, I'd like to blend the grip safety and magwell, checker the front strap and re-coat the frame (I'd sublet those last two things). For now, I'm just enjoying the incredible balance, smoothness and quality of this sweet piece of steel.

The Garrison is also completed "for now", until I decide later on to upgrade the rest of the MIM and put a sweet trigger setup in it. The last bit of upgrades included fitting the EGW barrel bushing, EGW slide stop, Ed Brown oversized mag release, refinishing the magwell (again) and some Talon grip tape on the front strap. I like the way this feels in the hand now and all the controls work well for me.

Yep, she loves that gun. Named it Greenie. She learned to shoot in the Navy, but I got her interested in a much nicer gun...
