If you read the article it is about the nato officers and the ones from Sweden. Different story. I don’t know if it’s true or not. Always 2 sides to every story and as we know history is always written by the victors.

@rooster i think you’re missing the point.

No, I was agreeing, many actions during war could become war crimes, depending on the context and actions. Judging in hindsight and with limited information isn't something I care to do, it's really just speculation.

Executing civilians, ie lining them up and shooting them in the back of the head, is a clear war crime.

If they were in fact civilians, of course, one must acknowledge there's the possibility that some of them might be saboteurs, spies, or deserters.

That's for people to investigate there, not try to tease out truth from a few photo's from 1/2 way round the world over the internet.
