Why would I care what happens on the other side of the globe when right here at home we’re battling a corrupt government? Our rights are under attack by our own government, but I’m supposed to ignore that and devote my efforts to protecting and defending people that will turn on us the minute it benefits themselves?

I don’t want another Afghanistan. We already pay for and supply Europe with most of their military operations... let them deal with it. Let’s fix our problems.

Being world police and "nation building" in the middle east isn't imperialism? Are you suggesting we invade ourselves?

If George Washington was alive today he'd scold you for that mindset. Something something foreign entanglements... We shouldn't even be in NATO, the UN, or have anything to do with most of these people. They never hold up their end of the deal, and leave the tax payers of this country subsidizing their defense so they can have socialist economies. If we were invaded by China they'd all stand by and be working out economic deals with China.

It's all ridiculous and pathetic. And the domestic news media has sold it to the public just like covid, wokeness, and everything else.

If you want to stop an actual threat to this country, stop China's advances in the pacific. Because it won't stop with just the south china sea and Taiwan. They'll move right onto economic partners, and then Hawaii.

Ukraine isn't even a NATO member. And you act like we have an obligation to them.

Those huge oceans that can take over a week to traverse? Our gigantic naval capabilities that could quite literally tolerate going to war with the ENTIRE PLANET trying to invade us?

There's next to no possibility of anyone expending the resources to even chip away at the mainland of this country. We were blessed with the most defensible clay on this planet, and the most powerful navy in the world.

We do have states that are at a potential risk, Alaska and Hawaii. And we'd do well to protect them jealously. But the mainland of the US is quite literally impossible to invade.

Those "satanic" countries have been at war since the dawn of time, and the only thing we've accomplished is emboldening the more radical organizations in those countries. Iran used to be almost westernized until we started getting involved.
