Rush Limbaugh has died, I loved his show, the world is better for him being here, and sadder for his dying....

In my younger years I hated the man, having been fooled into believing he was the racist, xenophobic, evil, boogie man the lying media paints him as. Then I actually listened to his show.

Seeing the veil of mischaracterizations of the drive by media dissolve was one of the first awakenings that helped lead me to the conservative viewpoints I hold today.

Godspeed Mr. Limbaugh.

He will be greatly missed by millions of listeners. I started listening to Rush in 1990 and have enjoyed his patriotic enthusiasm and straight forward common sense. I will miss him dearly.

Countless times I would get up and look at the news of the day in the morning and then a few hours later Rush was saying the same thing I was thinking a few hours before.

I have avoided listening to him for some time, because the truth he spoke raised my blood pressure.

According to his final statements he is in Heaven with His Saviour.

He converted many to conservatism, that actually gave him a listen.

Prior to Rush I listened to NPR to get my political news. Whatever they said, I believed the exact opposite.

Wife was like that before we got together.
Had him on the radio at the shop and after she listened a few times she was pissed that she was lied to by her professors and the media.

Being in a service truck led me to hear him in the early 90's I believe. He was the voice of truth to many of us and what he said usually was on point.
