Not sure whether Catherine is hosting the show today or just making the announcement? On the air now though...

Though I sometimes disagreed with "how" he said things, I rarely disagreed with "what" he said... rather than telling people what to think, he gave voice to what they believed.

A true pioneer in his medium and an American success story.

I wish this was the reaction of those on the Twitter-sphere. It’s so full of vicious hate. For the record, I hate it when those on the right do it too (see the reaction to RBG’s passing).
being glad someone is no longer wielding the power they did and being glad they died are different but when you hold the job until you die it's hard for others to see that

A friend andI were discussing awhile back that if he had purchased the SL Rams, how he would have handled the kneeling issue. He and Roger would have in a blood feud. I'm sure some walkin' papers would have been in order. He^ definitely broke the mold. RIP

:( I have avoided listening to him for some time, because the truth he spoke raised my blood pressure.

According to his final statements he is in Heaven with His Saviour.

He converted many to conservatism, that actually gave him a listen.

Prior to Rush I listened to NPR to get my political news. Whatever they said, I believed the exact opposite.

NPR Facebook page comments are consumed with dark glee at his death. Laughter, slander and curses are the order of the day there.

Why Republicans didn't revoke NPR funding while they could is beyond me.
