David Codrea is reporting that acting head Melson is out at ATF. He's received reports that the never confirmed head of ATF has been transferred to some other position in the DoJ. This story is still developing, but it shows there's some kind of shakeup going on at ATF. Most of us would prefer that Melson does the perp walk for Gun Walker, but this is something.

I like the part about him needing to hold on a little longer to get his retirement benefits. He is still getting a paycheck. He simply got shuffled to a new position and will still receive his retirement.

OK let me get this straight.

    He was NOT fired.

    He was NOT disciplined.

He was NOT prosecuted for breaking the law.

    He is STILL getting PAID.

He was laterally moved into a new position in a different department. So he probably will still get his gubmint pension, health benefits, etc.

How is this a "win" for the taxpayers, freedom lovers, or other subjects of the US?
