Can't wait. I've been hooked on the series since episode 1. Hopefully the show keeps getting better. I thought that the second season was even better than the first.

Lately I've been thinking of reading the books that the series is based on.

Its based on the work of Elmore Leonard. Pronto is the novel I've read, but there's also a short story with Raylan returning to Kentucky that's the basis for the show (Name escapes at the moment). In Pronto he's still in Miami.

ETA that the other Novel is Ride the Rap and the short story is Fire in the Hole

Elmore Leonard is on of my favorite authors. Maximum Bob is great, The Hot Kid is another good one as is Pagan Babies. I have never read the story that Justified is based on but the main character in The Hot Kid seems to be a lot like Raylan's on the show just set in the 1930's. Can't wait for the new season to start.

I've never even heard of this show...What channel is it on?

Can someone give me a better synopsis than this?

Old-school U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens is reassigned from Miami to his childhood home in the poor, rural coal-mining towns in Eastern Kentucky.

I'll have to look for season 1.

Tivo set, past my bedtime. Reading Road Dogs now, not bad, but not that great either.
