    and what registry are they using to determine who to use these tactics on?

    I think they already have a list they stole from this website.

    My guess is that by the time they come to get them individual rights will have deteriorated to the point where they will just arrest you for being on a 4473.

    Most people still buy through dealers...so you start with 4473s like in "Red Dawn".

    My guess is that by the time they come to get them individual rights will have deteriorated to the point where they will just arrest you for being on a 4473.

    But every time I try to make the case on INGO that 4473s are a form of a registry, even if a poor one, I am ridiculed.

    Do you think they could get a warrant off of someone's name being on a 4473?

    All it takes, IMO, is as part of any legislation they enable the use of the 4473s as a registry.

    When the police find a gun used (or suspected) in a crime, the 4473 is the second or third stop (after the manufacturer and distributor).
