I have sweat through a triple leather nail pouch to where water was Dripping from the outside. I don't know how many I have rotted out in 40 years of carpentry.

I would not make it a day in the kind of heat Act talks about.

You would be looking for me and find a pile of clothes and tools in a big puddle.

I'll handle it better next year. I spent last summer away from the mill mostly at home in the A/C because of the layoff and my bike accident. The tolerance I built up was destroyed lol

Watching you two talk, I’m SO glad I got out of the steel mill way back when I did.

    It's a fun filled place.
Clowns to the left of me
    Jokers to the right

I think this was just nature's way of telling me that 130 deg isn't so bad. It can get worse.
And, when standing up (from working at knee level) remember to hold the railing, and maybe not go so fast. Unless you like your environment to spin around you.

I'm not sure about that "tolerance".
29 years, 7 months, and it still sucks.

    You'd do it.
And then yell at the youngsters to stop their whining and do their job.

I-65 southbound started backing up just south of Ridge Road. Of course. After I was too late to exit.
    Bad semi accident at 61st.
    Took forever to get there.
Then, one of the (redacted) that was using the breakdown lane to pass everyone, wanted to get back into traffic, because OF COURSE emergency workers/vehicles had it all blocked off.
Who could have figured that out.
Well, not the (redacted) guy trying to get back in.
He yelled, "Are you going to be an ******* and not let me in?"
I said, "Yes! You passed everyone in that lane. You can stay there!"

I saw a post about that somewhere on Facebook and took toll road to 49 instead of 65 to 231 lol
