Got approximately 45lbs of lead smelted down. Will keep at it till she calls me on the way back from her anderson craft show.My garage now smells like pine. Will have to fix that with a cigar after a shower.

Does smelted lead smell like pine? I've not done that yet. Gentle rain showers here. Should be a nice evening for your cigar.

Strike that. Just occured to me you might be burning pine to melt the lead. :bash:

    .

Pine sawdust to flux the lead. Ended up with 58lbs of pure lead ingots and maybe a 1lb or 2 left in the pot for when I start the clip on wheel weights. Hoping next year to start mixing alloys and make my first bullets.

I am going. I had to reserve a spot. Gentlemen from Infinity Solutions plan on being there. I plan on asking him a question about his "buy back" plans

How can he buy something "back" that he never owned in the first place?

And if he is planning to use my money to remove my properly purchased guns from me then I think he might be starting an argument.

Morning INGO. Didn't get the lawn done because of the storms. Oh well.
Oh, look up the mother confronting Beto, great video. It was good that he kept trying to quiet the crowd to let her speak. It would have been nice to see his response but hadn't found it yet.

Well, I've got a ride, so...

Two questions, Sir. In 2018, you stated that you owned an AR.
    1. Do you still have it and if so, why?
    2. Does/did it call out to you and make you want to kill people?
