Somebody actually did steal my EDC light. Dude came up to the bar and went "hey, you see a black wallet around here?". So I look around, then pull my Protac out of my pocket and scan the floor. I don't see anything. The guy points at my light and goes "can I see that for a sec?". I give it to him and figure he's just gonna look up and down the bar, or out back in the smoking area, and then give it right back.

Nope. Never saw him again, never got it back. I'll call and see if anyone left it behind, but I figure it's RIP for my EDC light and on to the spare.
