It's great to see father/daughter moments. You need to remind her to keep her finger off the trigger until she is ready to fire. Lessons learned from Dad last a lifetime.
Very cool! My 11 yr old daughter just started shooting with me last summer. Started her out with a Walther p22, but she quickly wanted to shoot the Glock 9mm. She's learning fast.
My daughter (14) loves to shoot clays. Why? Because she loves to show off the bruise at school. The guys never believe how she gets it and she tells them not to mess with her because she is a crack shot. That's my girl!
I just bought a new BB gun to start my girls out on (11 and 8). I'd sold my stuff when they were born and haven't had guns in the house while they were younger. I figure now it's time for me to get back into it, and for them to start learning some gun safety.
I always figure education is better than sheilding them from it.
