We had a little range in the basement when I was kid.

I had a rifle in a rack I made hanging over my head when I was around 10. 12 gauge in the closet.

    Good times.

Actually, we had a pistol range in the basement of our house when I was growing up too. We moved to the suburbs when I was about 10, and I always missed the range (but that was the ONLY thing I missed when we moved to the burbs).

    From the article:
Nashville school shooter Audrey Hale’s manifesto is set to be released to the public after the FBI and its highly skilled team of criminal profilers analyze its contents, a Nashville City Council member revealed to The Post.

Yeah, they could continue to analyze it even after releasing it. The idea that analysis would have to stop if it was released is absurd.

Helpful Hint for deranged pieces of ****:

Absent the actions of this evil *****, there would have been none dead on that morning.

The ******* idiots in this snip are disgusting.

Did anyone else notice CN started using “he” and “him” at 4:25? I hope that was an oversight.

I think the real solution for a lot of transgender kids, and I definitely am not a psychiatrist, but here goes...simply let them be _gay_. It is clear from reading the background on this girl, and the testimonies from students who knew her, is that she was a gay girl who had a tremendous, and apparently unrequited, desire to get her a mouthful of "black girl magic." Her happy time in life was when she was in middle school and played on the girls basketball team. She was dressing feminine then, and got to spend time hugging her teammates and all the chick-stuff girls do on sports teams, plus getting to watch them undress in the locker room. It was apparently the last time she felt good. Once she got in High School, she quit playing for whatever reason...maybe not good enough at that level to play, or whatever. That's when she apparently got isolated and lonely, and kept fixating backward on the crushes she had on a couple black girls on her middle school team, and simply never moved on emotionally.

She was something we're not accustomed to seeing in school shooters: a female, gay, Incel. She had all this romantic desire for these girls, but it was unrequited. She wasn't "getting any," and that combined with her other emotional issues, and probably antidepressants (or withdrawal from them), and probably a healthy dose of trans-radicalization, was enough to push her over the edge. Any other kid would have just turned out as a miserable gay girl in therapy.

Again, I'm not a psychologist, so this is probably worth what you paid for it, but I really think the solution for a lot of these kids could just amount to being allowed to be gay, and a lot of this trans-trauma is unnecessary.

Here we go, "Armed staff didn't prevent it!!!" But I suspect the armed staff probably are directed to stay in their lockdown room and protect the immediate occupants, rather than go around clearing the school and getting in the way of LE responders. Really it seems the lockdown procedures were somewhat effective here. There were just 6 unlucky people who couldn't get to safety soon enough.

I would speculate that is in part true, armed staff did not prevent it, however if they were not in the role of immediate responder, how could they? I suspect if the monster had selected the wrong or in hypothetically the Right room things could have ended well under 14 minutes.

I was just listening to a podcast about hunting in Europe and they talked about firearm ownership. I believe that this is the next step if we continue to beat the mental illness drum.

    https://www.gov.uk/government/news/uks-strict-gun-laws-strengthened-with-new-medical-arrangements
That's not really beating the mental illness drum. That's beating the same old gun control drum, with a new mental illness hammer. They're not interested in treating mental illness, just preventing gun ownership.

My point exactly. We are handing the left the hammer. Every time this happens the right says it’s not the firearms it’s mental illness. All the left has to do is say, “we agree. In order to purchase a firearm hand over your medical records. Anyone can practice their second amendment rights, you just need a signed form from your doctor.”

That sets the ground work. If a child’s parents get divorced (which is like 50% of marriages) and their doctor puts the child on an antidepressant to cope with the strain the government could later use that to deny rights when they’re of age. It’s a simple way to disarm the future generations while keeping the 2nd amendment.

These are the same people who told you it took six years of secrecy to determine that Stephen Paddock was "mad at the casinos".
Somewhere, right now, Loretta Lynch is still searching desperately for the motive of the San Ber'dino shooters. :coffee:
