Food will be grown in a laboratory or all you'll need to survive the day will be contained in a pill. Either way it will not only contain all the nutrional requirements but vaccines, supplements for mind control, euphoric hallucinogens, and when it's been determined you are no longer a useful individual a timed released death potion.
I’ve seen that movie (plot) and didn’t care for it then and I don’t care for it now.

At the World Economic Forum, IMF head Kristalina Georgieva champions a carbon tax, overlooking its potential burden on consumers, especially the economically vulnerable.By yourNEWS Media Staff

During the recent World Economic Forum (WEF) conference in Davos, Switzerland, a range of topics were discussed, including climate change and economic policies. IMF head Kristalina Georgieva was a prominent speaker, advocating for policies that have raised concerns about their impact on lower and middle-income populations.

Georgieva proposed a carbon pricing strategy, suggesting a target of USD 85 per ton by 2030 to accelerate decarbonization. Her stance is based on the premise that a tax on carbon is essential to combat climate change effectively.

Georgieva’s comments also sparked reactions due to her apparent dismissal of concerns about the economic burden of a carbon tax. She expressed frustration with objections to the cost, emphasizing the need to reallocate funds from “where it hurts” to “where it helps.” This stance has been perceived as insensitive to the challenges faced by economically vulnerable groups.

That's what I've never understood about these fools!
If you think humans and the things we use are so bad for the planet, then why haven't they became the model leaders and taken their own lives in an orgasmic, heroic plunge to their own martyrdom to prove how serious they are????!!!?? They already have the pods to do so.
Just like the pieces of trash that want to pretend that America is a horrible place... Yet they are never willing to go live anywhere else in the entire world that has less freedoms and conveniences as America!

They could move the conference to a nearby port city, such as Venice or Marseille, and all reach the venue via sailboat. Even the ones lost at sea each year would be in harmony with the worms nature
I'm kinda late to the thread. But, for that matter, they could have a ****ing zoom meeting and not have to slurp jet fuel and spew carbon.

“We need the people who understand our language and the case law in the country, because what qualifies as hate speech, illegal hate speech — which you will have soon also in the United States — we have a strong reason why we have this in the criminal law,”(in the EU) said Vera Jourova, vice-president for values and transparency at the European Commission.
"We need the platforms to simply work with the language and identify such cases. The AI would be too dangerous."

How about no. The unelected bureaucrat's of the EU will NOT decide what can and can not be said in the USA. Period.

A.G. Sulzberger, publisher of The New York Times, claimed during the panel that disinformation, misinformation, conspiracy theories, clickbait and propaganda, "maps to every other major challenge that we are grappling with as a society, and particularly the most existential among them."
"What it attacks is trust. And once you see trust decline, what you then see is societies start to fracture. You see people fracture along tribal lines. That immediately undermines pluralism, and the undermining of pluralism(new name for DEI) is probably the most dangerous thing that can happen to a democracy," he said.

To be a leftist you must possess an impenetrable shield of hypocrisy through which no common sense nor intelligence may pass.
