In your days in the garage around the racing bunch... I can only imagine!!

Dads car used to say “my drinking team has a racing problem” on the back. What else are you gonna do when you’re in the garage working with your buddies every night

I bought a 6-pack of Corona for a beer bread recipe a couple of weeks ago, and it was skunked by the time I got it home (3 blocks). WTF.

Yeah, I was picking it up for my mom and it was what she wanted. I would have gotten some Yuengling and then I would have had five decent ones to drink.

So I know NOTHING about drinking.
I was as pure as the snow at a coal mine.

So I know NOTHING about drinking.
I was as pure as the snow at a coal mine.

The navy must have wanted you guys drunk. I was in a BX or two and the liquor prices were amazingly low.

I don't know about the Navy, but it was my impression in the Army that they were fine with soldiers blowing their entire pay the first three days of the month and being totally dependent on them for the rest of the month.

Bread & Circus.
That's how you keep the people happy and distracted.
Plus, we had a bit of pressure to blow off.

Should have seen the prices in the Caribbean.
$1.25 for bacardi rum.
A can of pop was that much for one can.
And that was when it was 50 cent or so here.

If you bought a rum and coke, they filled the glass with rum, then added a finger or so of coke.
