Drive by it all the time, today I decided to stop in. Decent and varied selection of handguns. Wide selection of rifles. Average pricing. They carry a ton of clothing and other gear. I mostly stayed around the firearms. Some reloading supplies, which is nice. Everyone was VERY friendly. I was greeted right away upon entering. I must have had five different guys ask me if they could help me find anything.

Have done a lot of business with them over the years. Great place, my only gripe is the prices are a little high. Doug has helped me out a lot.

I saw their sign right near 500 guns, but didn't have time to stop by. maybe tomorrow I will take a ride over and let you guys know what I find.

Here's another place near Indpls NE side that has shotguns, rifles and the best price on reloading components I have seen anywhere! Powder, primers, brass, shells, wads, you name it they have excellent prices. This is also the home to the State Trap and Skeet Finals right before the Grand American. Lot's of trap & skeet ranges at very competitive rates.

I believe he is a class III dealer. I KNOW he knows what he's talking about, has competitive prices and gives excellant service you can depend on. If he tells you something on the phone, you find exactly that when you get to his shop.

Another good shop is Hunter Supply in Bedford, west of town on Purdue Farm road. It's a smaller new shop trying to make it in a competive business but I liked it and they had what I wanted at a heads up competitive price.

Has anyone ever dealt with Patriot Sporting Arms on the north side of Terre Haute? His commercials have started showing again. I've been in there once but that was a couple years ago. There's also Trotter's in Sullivan. Good guy. Bought my Moss 500 combo off of him a couple months ago and price was ok. Seen one at the 1500 in Oct. for the same price so I felt a little better. He also deals in archery stuff and fishing supplies (live bait).
