Cornell University law school is wrong, but your single source is right?

    iu
There are other sources that say what he says too.

"stop and frisk" 2.1 million hits on google

"stop and question and frisk" 1.9 million hits. And many of those hits come back to "stop and frisk articles" so the spread is actually higher.

So as Doug said let it go. Both sides are right technically.

EDIT: Boy howdy was that 2nd search skewed. When I changed the 2nd search to expressly exclude "stop and frisk" The results dropped from 1,900,000 to 24,500. Just a WEEEE bit less.

Lots of murder, drive by shootings, and mayhem in Indy this week. Mithoffer Road seems to be a perpetual hotspot and the only response by IMPD is oh, we well increase patrols. Same old BS! Tell IMPD to put more cops out on the streets “walking the beat” like the old days. Impose “stop and frisk” in problem areas. Oh, that’s right: the bleeding heart liberals will start screaming profiling and all the usual democrat libtard arguments. The problem is that these people don’t want to see or hear the truth. :twocents:!
Lol. Everyone always has the best answer on how IMPD should be doing things.

Well, sure as $$$t, IMPD doesn’t have an answer and has not implemented any new or even old ideas to stem the tide of criminality flooding the fair City of Indianapolis. So why not try something drastic, which actually worked, like NYC did under a once famous and then not disgraced mayor.

Like stop and frisk? That was drastic. (bringing back memories of another thread :lmfao: )

EDIT: Since folks have missed the purple. S&F was ruled unconstitutional. Thats why its purple.

I'm not liberal, and yet I think stop and frisk is a 4th amendment violation.
I thought conservative was supposed to be pro constitution
Well technically yes it’s a violation. Notwithstanding, the fact is that sometimes pulling back on one right, which here would be minimally invasive, would go a long way towards the overall safety of the citizenry. Besides, it did work in NYC many years ago when crime was really rampant. Now the woke liberals would have their hair on fire.

So you want IMPD to violate your rights by stopping you with no valid reason to? And any evidence of crime gathered from said illegal stop made inadmissible in court? So a murderer is possibly stopped by police but can't be prosecuted because evidence can't be used against them, so they aren't prosecuted. Must be nice to sit on the sidelines and bitch about something and then come up with an illegal method to "solve crime."

You probably think the practice of taking someone's legally posessed firearm for "officer safety"is ok too.
