Follow your nose. By that I mean when you are driving around smell the air. when you smell BBQ start looking for the place. Most places that sell killer BBQ are small hole in the wall places that don't look like much. There is a small BBQ joint on my way to Michigan City that the smoker is actually bigger than the rest of the restaurant! But they have the BEST ribs I have tasted! well other than my own that is. LOL

since I don't know specifically where you are in central indiana I can't really offer up much in the way of suggestions right offhand...
