well as you all probably know I'm big into BBQ be it cooking, eating, competing. and if you don't know now you know. anyway as I'm ramping up my BBQ season I was thinking I know other INGOers like/love BBQ and it got me thinking we need to get together and cook, shoot the breeze, you know the usual. then another idea hit me. INGO BBQ cookoff! what a better way to make friends and smite vegitarians. it's just an idea though what do you guys think? do I smell the first annual INGO cup?

Well we need to adjust the rules a little bit but if I can get CBarnett to build a good grill (unless we do a whole hog and use my trailer-mounted grill) and not sell it before we get to put it to good use then count us in!
We should do this somewhere we can set up either tents or the campers and make a weekend of it like the campgrounds at Arrerbury public side!

Who needs a grill? I'm bringing fire wood and a steel grate. I dont do wimpy modern BBQ I was raised better than that. :) I only use propane for fast food. and microwaves are for leftovers. But real BBQ is a religious experience. It brings people and families together. And should never be fast.

wood, grate, (my homemade dry rub) some onions and garlic roasting on the side. No sauce! This is real BBQ!

Good sticky modern BBQ you need to make your own sauce. I have a secrete recipe for this too. Most people love it this way. Till they eat my real BBQ.
