    Breaking News:

Judge McGlynn in the Southern District of Illinois just issued a statewide Preliminary Injunction barring enforcement of Illinois recently passed gun laws -- certain types of semi-auto rifles, pistol or rifle magazines above specific capacities, and -- of special note -- stabilizing pistol braces -- in their entirety -- as unconstitutional.

Unfortunately I've not found a PDF of the order as it wasn't posted to Court Listener.

    Did find this on YouTube:

    EDIT:
Found PDF of the court's Preliminary Injunction here and uploaded it as an attached file:

Discussion mentioning Pistol Arm Braces begins on page 18 of the PDF.

McGlynn did NOT stay or delay his injunction.

This link explains what the Illinois State Police are doing now to restrict 2A rights in that ####hole of a state. There was a period when an injunction was entered stopping enforcement of the new law restricting the sale of rifels and magazines on the banned list. At this time FFL's sold the banned rifles etc.
The banned rifles were grandfathered in if registered by Jan. 1st 2024. The ISP have now issued an order that anything bought during that period will become illegal on Jan 1st 2024 and cannot be registered because they were not owned prior to the signing of the law on Jan 10th 2023.
It is a good video and goes into a lot more depth than I did but that is the short version. Jim.
