One person not waiting around for answers from the airline is actor and (former) United 1K frequent flyer Rob Schneider, who took to X last week to send a message to Kirby that he would no longer be flying United.

"Dear Scott Kirby CEO @UnitedAirlines and Drag Queen practitioner, I regret to inform you that I will no longer allow my family to fly on your airline as you have clearly placed 'diversity' of pilot hiring above safety of passengers and crew," Schneider wrote.

He continued: "As evidenced by the near aviation catastrophe of UA Boeing 777 flight 1722 from Maui to San Francisco Dec 18th 2023, where your diverse but incompetent flight crew didn’t know which flaps were causing its near disastrous dissent, coming within 750 feet of killing every one aboard your United Airline."

Schneider also claimed that many United employees supported his criticism: "I cannot tell you how many @UnitedAirlines employees have personally thanked me for my valid criticism of your careless and life threatening leadership. I look forward to your swift dismissal by UA’s board of directors before your inane actions cause the deaths of hundreds of men, women and children. After your inevitable firing you can get back to your true passion, your Drag Queen performances."

January 20th,2024 Just the nose wheel getting lost...nothing to see here.

This week, United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby revealed his love for throwing on a dress and twerking in public - but Kirby still has a few secrets hidden under that wig! Here are seven exciting new features coming to your next United Airlines flight, courtesy of its drag queen leader:

    1. Oxygen masks will be replaced by feather boas and glitter: Remember, put on your own feather boa before assisting those next to you.
    2. The pre-flight safety demonstration will be replaced by the crew dancing to "It's Raining Men": Hallelujah!
    3. The exit row will now be outfitted with stripper poles: Extra leg room comes with extra glitter.
    4. An in-flight drag show will begin as soon as the "Fasten Seatbelt" sign goes off: United still recommends passengers remain seated while drag queens roam the aisle.
    5. No more free nuts: Too bad!
    6. Next to the "Flight Attendant Call" button there is now a "Drag Queen Call Button": They look very similar, but the drag queen button has a wig. Choose wisely.
    7. In the event of a water landing, passengers may use the pilot's fake boobs as a floatation device: Very generous!

I enjoyed the Battlestar Galactica remake. It showed much more of the human side of living life on the edge, and even falling apart at times because of it. It was good story telling and entertaining. It did not feel woke at all to me, and given I was 5 when the original was on air I did not even realize Starbuck had been male.
Well they took some obvious liberties, of course, as you mentioned they made Starbuck a woman. And men and women shared bathrooms. A few other things. But a good show.

Bathrooms on US subs are shared by both currently. Given the Galactica is a warship in space and needs room for things like nukes, guns, room for spacecraft to be maintained, hallways wide enough for cylons, and of course an area for political dissenters and their worshipers(ok last one was sarcasm air lock him) it makes sense.
