There's no public record that prosecutors moved forward with felony kidnapping and menacing charges against Aldrich, or that police or relatives tried to trigger Colorado's 'red flag' law that would have allowed authorities to seize the weapons and ammo the man's mother says he had with him.

They were probably overwhelmed by mad mothers at school board meetings.

It's amazing seeing how the crowd who claimed "MAGA caused this" is reacting on Twitter.

There seems to be two distinct types of comments so far.

A. Gay people can still be self hating right wing MAGATs.

B. He's just saying this to get out of the hate crimes.

Option B of course conviniently abandons the rules we've been hearing for years that gender is fluid and we must unquestionably believe anyone who claims whatever gender identity they want at any time.
