Old wood boat from the 50s I restored. A good friend trained me on trailering and docking using his Mastercraft as he said my boat was so pretty he didn't want to see me mess it up learning. It's great to have friends like that to keep you from doing stupid stuff by being overconfident.;)

Leadeye has all the cool stuff.

There's probably a Thompson on board too.

If I had the cyber warfare capability to make a targeted ship lose power at the exact touch of a button, I probably wouldn't use it to roll the dice on a bridge collision at 0130 in the morning. Just saying. It's not a very good, or reliable, terror attack.

KISS, for the time being it's a lot more believable to me that the stupid thing just broke at an incredibly unlucky time. A momentary power loss 30 minutes later outside the bay would never make the news. The reality is thousands of similar ships make the same transits around the country every year without incident.

    In the country, hopefully.
Fear porn seems to be a big paying gig, I think that’s the case with this Lara Logan. But who knows.

Somewhere around here I posted that Tim Kennedy had said on a podcast that 300,000 illegals were crossing a day.
How many people believed that? I did, as I was listening to him. It might be 300000 a month but even that might be a bit high.
The numbers not the point, what someone is inclined to believe and latches on to with all the faith they can muster is a real problem when we are too detached to know the truth.

Living the fear porn life can only lead to destruction and misery.

Hush. Don't post stuff like that. Someone will be along shortly to tell you to believe everything the MSM says verbatim, because you know, the facts are fully known this soon after an incident.

The tracking data is legit, but does anyone of us (or the MSM or others) know what truly caused the ship loose power and veer off course? No. But many are buying what the MSM is saying, hook, line, and sinker.

    So soon after covid, too.

So many focused on the BS in the intro of a tweet I linked to (consider the source, mind you), many did not care to read further to see all the effects that shipping lane being closed (even for a week or two) nor the bridge being out a significant length of time...

I wonder how many here would say Michael Yon is "out there" with his reporting over the past 12-24 months... Likely the same number of folks that believe they need to get there next covid booster, but I digress...

TLDR: the only people on the bridge when it went down were a work crew of eight. Two of them were pulled from the water, one hospitalized, and one refused treatment. The other six are still missing.:(

No link to report, but Collin Rugg usually gets stuff right.

The bridge didn't fall into the ocean, it fell into the Patapsco River. The Ocean is about 200 miles away.

And it will have huge Dolphins so this doesn't happen again.
Nah, they will likely go overkill on it so that the span is longer then need be and the supports are no where in the channel, if in the water at all.

But why not go all out. Light the new bridge with red white and blue lights that make the cables shine. This bridge was named after the guy who wrote the Star Spangled Banner. Make the new bridge scream. America!
