We had one in our 2002 Ford Van and it was pretty stellar save for doing the required mileage tune up.Well, I WAS looking at a 2012 5.4l.
I guess not so much now.
An ingenious solution to a non-existent problem...We had one in our 2002 Ford Van and it was pretty stellar save for doing the required mileage tune up.
Who ever that engineering team was that thought putting the plugs on top of the heads directly under the fuel rails for the injectors needs a curb stomping.
Ford has always been very good at that.An ingenious solution to a non-existent problem...

Come on man we can not win. Its not our game. And that sucks.
They were the only ones that didn't take bail-out money
I was supposed to quote this in post 10.Well, I WAS looking at a 2012 5.4l.
I guess not so much now.
You sir are correct!I think the Tritons were removed from the truck in 2010 or 11?
I think the 2012's have the 5.0 or 6 cyl, unless you're talking expedition/excursion.
Ecoboost engines are reliableYou sir are correct!
I took the word of a friend who said they thought it was a Triton motor.
I just drove by and looked. It is a 3.5L Twin turbo "Ecoboost".
It is a 4x4 with King cab (4 full doors).
Asking $6900, but I'm sure I can talk him down.
Not sure about the miles but it's VERY clean.
Guess I'll go talk to the guy tomorrow.
Maybe but I’m not sure I’d rely on a used turbo gas truck for 6900. That would have been 40k not that long ago. No thank you.Ecoboost engines are reliable
Yeah that seems odd and no, that engine package does not belong in a truck. JMHO.Maybe but I’m not sure I’d rely on a used turbo gas truck for 6900. That would have been 40k not that long ago. No thank you.
Sounds like a good priceYou sir are correct!

200,000 miles without anything other than regular maintenance? ...seriously, 'cause that's my standard.Ecoboost engines are reliable
