Doesn’t it change at 2 or something? I assume to keep the calendar happy, if not the clock…Nope...not for another hour....

Yep but it is only 11 p.m. here.Doesn’t it change at 2 or something? I assume to keep the calendar happy, if not the clock…
Haha oh yea. Fast time, as I’ve heard it called from friends in Francesville. Or is it slow time? I never understood that either.Yep but it is only 11 p.m. here.
I live on "slow time" but work on "fast time". It is ridiculous.Haha oh yea. Fast time, as I’ve heard it called from friends in Francesville. Or is it slow time? I never understood that either.
So the 11 is the slow time I assume?I live on "slow time" but work on "fast time". It is ridiculous.
I see we have some similarities; some things make you mad enough that you lose your religion. Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my soul to keep
And if I die before I wake
I pray rhe Lord my soul to take
And also the souls of all those MFers that want to keep switching clocks twice a year.
And the drunks. They get an extra hour of drinking…Doesn’t it change at 2 or something? I assume to keep the calendar happy, if not the clock…
And sometimes the deer do that too!I believe every bit of this. As soon as it turns dark, the dumb bastards start jumping back and forth over the roads.
I think you mean ATM. I don't think shibumi ever posted in here.I remember Shibumi’s loving posts on DST
i think you are mistaken. Posey is SW Indiana. And since it abuts Illinois it does make some sense to be Central.Six counties at the southeast tip of Indiana are also on Central time. I doubt that many people commute between Posey County and Chicago. People on both sides of the Indiana - Illinois line have been dealing with the time differences for over a century. Most people deal with simple inconveniences.
We will never know of the lost potential of that hour.Well, it happened. DST ended for a few months, 4 I think. The world still exists, or does it?
Go ahead. Poll me in the winter. My answer would be the same as it is in the summer. I like the bulk of my free time to be in the daylight. I prefer my free time is after work. And I don't like changing the clocks back and forth. Every day of the year, that's my preference.Polls like this tend to find what they are paid to find. If one polls in the lead up or immediate aftermath they will get a negative response. If one polls when folks are enjoying that sunshine after work they will get a different response…
I didn't change anything. Why do you ALWAYS change what I say in the reply.?
It is a factor for sure. I never said it was the only one. Indiana did attractor retain one more corporate headquarters than Texas.
Location, location, location. Do you not believe in location? Do you find it preposterous that when business is relocating headquarters they want to on the same time as the money of the major banks and stock market and the power of DC.
There was a post that tried to make a point about Daniels claim about attracting jobs. It says more about the posters knowledge than the predictions, which look at all the corporate headquarters that have landed in central Indiana, particularly Carmel and fishers since the change to DST…
