I believe my dad (who did a fair share of roof jobs in the summer back when the earth was young) might have a thing or two to say about working in 95+ heat for hours.

I merely need to remember the joy that was working in a nice, insulated, poorly vented attic for a couple hours chasing a wiring issue in my house. For those wondering, I am not yet dead. I am convinced that I added several gallons to the local water table, but not dead.

Did anybody think about the unintended consequences? The lead time for a whole house generator was 12 months and growing last time I checked. This idea will never be implemented, but if it were, one efficient commercial power plant would be replaced by tens of thousands of less efficient gas or propane generators.
