    Daily carry and shotgun

I have 12 gauge at arms length and also whatever I’ve carrying that day. Lately has been a cz 75. No accessories or extras needed

I do the same. Carry pistol goes to bedroom along with 590 mossberg. I carry an old Smith 915.

18-inch 12ga pump in a wall-mounted shotgun lock, plus a CZ75 compact .40S&W in the nightstand. Both have lights with pressure switches near my support hand position.

Meeting a friend in a few hours at the new house to go over installing a security system.
This guy is contracted to run security at several casinos as well as both of our gaming cafes. This shall be productive. A secure gun room well as also be brought up.

Thoughts on a pistol vs a pistol caliber carbine? PCCs have much higher capacity and are less likely to stovepipe or misfeed, and cycle better with silencers.

The first weapon I'd reach for is my daily carry gun. It's a Vickers edition Glock 17 with a TLR1. It's not my preferred home defense gun, but it would work if need be. I'd reach for it for the same reason that I carry it... because it's the closest one. It sits on the night stand by the bed at night, so if I were awakened I could literally reach it, and fire it at some attacker coming in our bedroom while still in bed...

However, if I were to have a few seconds to get up, I'd go for the .300 Blackout SBR leaning up in the corner.
    1. It fires a much more capable round, (110 gr Vor-TX) and more of them.
    2. It still mounts a light.
    3. It has a very fast red dot that's always on.
    4. It's a very stable platform with 4 points of contact. (two hands, shoulder, face)
    5. I have a lifetime of experience with the AR platform thanks to 28 years (and 3 combat deployments) in uniform.
All this combined allows me to shoot my ARs much better (and faster) then I do my hand guns.

I'm curious what everyone's favorite bedside firearm and accessories are... I have a Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm with a TLR-4 light with green laser.

added an old friend to accompany my 629. 84677C9D-C833-438E-BB11-4511FC12AA87.jpeg

the flash from 60gr of H4895 behind my 405 hard cast is all the light I need.

    kids...don’t try this at home.
