    In the country, hopefully.
I must have missed the part where vaccine mandates in the US were stopped with guns.
Ok, following that line of logic, and considering just the past not the future; also don’t read this offensively, defensively, or anything, no tone to it from me:
Do you think the US is any different policy-wise because we have guns, or have had any good come of us having guns?

I think the government is afraid of the guns, why else all the anti-gun democrat party and media working for them. They want the guns gone, all of them. As is they have to move slower and brainwash the masses to submitting to anything they say. Its been a long 100 year process......they are hoping mass psychosis of the masses will turn on gun owners, then gun owners will have the choice what to do....just hasn't got there yet.

Wasn’t even thinking about stolen election or anything that recent really. More long term.
I’d assume your answer might still be no?
I am hard pressed to find a major policy in the US that differs significantly from other countries that is the direct result of ownership of firearms by the citizenry, other than the right to bear arms itself. And I think that's more a result of our longstanding gun culture since this nation's inception, rather than a government shaping policy with fear of an armed citizenry as a major consideration.

Other than the right to bear arms itself, what major policy do you believe is influenced by possession of arms by the citizenry?

On the one hand, I don’t disagree with you; I can’t think of anything that would be definitively different if we didn’t own guns, but on the other hand I can’t help but believe the machine would be bigger and more intrusive if we didn’t, possibly even towards socialism/fascism/one world government.

To your question of 1/6 turning out,
It’s not over til it’s over, but not all that well, yet. The point I see made is that the mooches trying to practice tyranny with the goofy gas masks on were scared to their core. And that’s a good thing in my book.

Instead of how did it turn out, I believe we have to ask what would the alternatives have been?

If the cops knew we (law abiding) didn’t have guns, but say, only truck horns, (just an example) they might be way less likely to shoot us. I suppose they should have known that, since it was DC, theoretical GFZ. But even they didn’t trust that to work. If we were AUS they might have trusted that.

As far as how 1/6 will turn out, follow through is everything. Like the truckers up north know, keep honking, don’t stop.

This person just posted this on a FB forum I'm on.....From New Zealand......

In new Zealand we've been politically induced to heavily discriminate each other now. We have 1st and 2nd class citizens. Our water is all being taken from us and privatized. Our public water is heavily chlorinated and fluoridated. Free speech is just about a thing of the past here. We're bound to go in being the worlds 1st full cashless society soon. Mandated to pump ourselves full of experimental gene therapy. I'd say sh** already hit the fan, well atleast the writings on the walls anyway..
I'm in new Zealand btw. I'd say keep an eye on us because we've become a political testing ground. A social guinea pig almost. Same with Australia. Indigenous getting dragged away to covid camps and seperated from family. Messed up
