OK, whether you find that funny or sad, it is instructive.

As someone who isn't an expert on law enforcement my perception it that the LEO behavior was appropriate.

I also get the impression at least one ATF guy isn't all that bright.

    1. You have a LEO with a gun pointed at you and you keep sorta dropping your arms?
    2. After being told to turn around, and show your hands, you keep advancing on the officer, announcing, "I am a Federal Officer" while doing so.
    3. You have the option of lying down in the grass and instead you lie down on the pavement?
    4. You announce that your wife is pregnant, and that is a good reason to resist arrest?
    5. You use, "I have a medical condition" as an excuse to resist
    6. There's more...

I didn't laugh at all. But it was a worthwhile watch. Kinda cringe-worthy but I can certainly understand why others might.

The federal government and its agents believe that everyone should bow and scrape before them.

    .
Really sad, but I have to ask if it's procedure to notify local police in the area where they are going to to perform checks to keep stuff like this from happening.

I wouldn't know an ATF badge from a chicken inspectors by looking at it so how does an average citizen know that the inspection is real.

    not lost, wandering...
ummm ... shoes are to keep the dog sh!t off your feet?
Line from the movie Inglorious Basterds. Odd but very entertaining movie, great performances,:thumbsup: recommend.
Colonel Landa; "What's that English expression about shoes and feet?"
Lieutenant Aldo Raine; "looks like the shoe's on the other foot"

Wonder what ever happened to the sniveling agent.

Yep, it's called "de-confliction". Only a lazy Fed would skip it.
