Wow, that's crazy. The ATF agent continued to escalate because he wanted to prove he was "top dog" since he was a Fed. I guess that didn't end up well for him.

I just saw the video and, after watching it a several times (it never gets old!), looked into the story. There are longer videos on YouTube. This happened in Columbus Ohio two years ago. This same fed was previously arrested in a Kroger's for shoplifting, so he's obviously not too bright. He's suing the cops involved and the city, and unfortunately most media reports support his claim the cops used excessive force.

To get a field agent out of the field without firing him, you promote him to a managerial role that doesn't do field work.
