Expert Hot & Cold Blueing....

I may have posted this a while back, in this thread. If I did it's 'lost' pages back.

Anyway, I am currently taking on additional firearms and parts blueing jobs in Indiana. Since I don't hold an FFL, at the present time only long guns, barrels, receivers, bottom metal and other small parts... can be mailed/shipped directly. Handguns will need to be dropped off, or we can meet up. I live in Indianapolis.

I do give a 'Firearms Drop-off Receipt' to the owner upon taking a gun in for blueing. Date , make/model, serial # and type of blueing rquested, etc are all recorded on that receipt.... so it also serves as a "job ticket". We both keep copies. I'll mail you a receipt if your gun/parts are shipped in.

... I have written and sold a lot of poetry. My favorite subjects are Romantic, Patriotic, and Religious poetry. Here is a short example, from my experience in Viet Nam, written to honor my buddies lost there:

~ Rice-Paddy Poppies ~

They fell in stagnant fields where no poppies grow;
unmarked, no crosses, row on row.
Young lives cut down, Youth tarrying, dead.
Hope hovers high; mem'ries un-fled,
still held despite the fate we'll know.

Despite death, love lives, unbowed, to show
yon lives the way Justice must flow,
'though ardor and fervor have yet yielded
no rice-paddy poppies.

Youth and Truth rose, fought darkness, met the foe,
wrestled, won; failed, and rose again. You!
Guard its journey 'mid blackness wide.
Still burns its torch; hold high with pride !
Cowards lack the will, 'though Heroes know
no rice-paddy poppies.
