Turkey thinks they'll be immune to ISIS if they stay out of it. ISIS only cares about what ISIS wants and needs. Money and murder is all they know.
Turkey has a real army it would wreck ISIS in a day. They also wouldn't put the kid gloves on doing it either.

Some of us have been saying the same thing about the U.S.I have my doubts about Turkey's abilities. They're waiting too long and when ISIS does show up on their doorstep it's going to be way too late.

Because there's no evidence of terrorists using commercial jets. When IS gets a navy or intercontinental air force I'll add a minutia of stress. Till then they are a regional threat in the ME and should be the problem of the regional powers, not the US.
Because there's no evidence of terrorists using commercial jets.
There's probably no chance they have an Internet connection and can issue a "call to arms" for like minded, or weak willed individuals here in The U.S. To try lone attacks!
Because there's no evidence of terrorists using commercial jets.
Nor is there anyway for them to simply walk into the country either.
So what's stopping them now? Fow as many people as they have, planes should be already falling out of the skies. ISIS isn't and won't ever be a legitimate threat to the US. Their expansion has already been curbed, and they are boxed in by some comparatively powerful militaries. This shouldn't be an American problem.
