Whew. That's kinda what I thought, but then I thought maybe I confused you with someone else.

(I admit that I do a poor job of keeping track of internet people. Its hard to hold a grudge when I can't remember who said what.)

    Interesting look at ISIS:
BBC News - Is IS on an inevitable path to destruction?

Although there are reports that IS is supported because it can provide medical services, and pay its people, others cast doubt on this.
When IS takes over, women are forced to wear the burka, cigarettes are burnt, music banned, even crayons are taken from children as school art classes are banned. Religious opponents are beheaded, even crucified.
But it is striking, and perhaps a little alarming, that, for some, it is the deprivations of everyday life that chafe more than the lurid horrors.

Reminds me of issues with Muslim Brotherhood and the various Palestinian groups. Fomenting revolution is MUCH easier than governing.

This is disgusting. The IS has put out a pamphlet for their jihadists on what is and is not permissible where their "slave girls" are concerned. The people over there had best get on the ball and put an end to these people or this crap will be coming to their doors really soon.

It's been at their doors for thousand years. Why would they act now? I just don't want it at OUR doors...

The irony being that for some people, it's not acceptable to act to keep it at bay. We actually have to wait until it's here before we can justifiably do something. :(

Ah, sort of like letting illegals cross the border without stopping them.....
then when they are here ignoring the law and letting them stay and not assimilate to life in America.....
there would seem to be a lesson here but for the life of me I can't put my finger on it.

I think for some it is willful ignorance, for others the words aiding and abetting are more correctly descriptive. :xmad:

Apparently, it's not useful until it's an emergency...
