HB 1177 is up in the senate.
Ole senator Dagger Eyes presented an amendment in the full Senate about notifying parents about teacher carrying firearms.

Ds making the same ole tired arguments.

Or, tell all the parents in all the State, you are in a State where people are supposed to be able to defend themselves.

I really appreciate all of you who took time out of your lives and went downtown this session to fight for the rights of us all. It means a lot.
I always try to do a small part by emailing and calling. Sometimes it doesn't feel like it makes a difference but I'll keep doing it. It takes nothing.
But actually, showing up in person and speaking at a committee hearing or in a one on one setting, that takes balls and you have my sincere respect

Right now the big ones are

SB 77 Throwing Stars ban repeal (Waiting on Governors signature)
HB 1177 Firearms training for teachers (Waiting on senate third reading)

One gun other related bill House Bill 1323 was signed by the governor already. "Information privacy relating to firearms."

Full senate hearing today, last deadline for third readings. So Hb 1177 is up against the wall and will get a vote today.

Thanks for keeping us up to date on these hearings Moose.

We are again saying "wait til next year" on getting the Nantz v State (2001) case fixed.
