The oil tanker Valdez had to foot the bill for cleanup way back then, so i don't see why this company wouldn't.

Well I agree 100%. Not only should they foot the bill for the entire rebuilding of the bridge, they should have to foot the bill for the First Responders and all lost revenues of everyone who's affected by the bridge loss. Not one dime of taxpayers' money should come to play.

I'm pretty sure that the guy from "What's going on with shipping" and the several other Merchant Mariners and people with port experience who are analyzing this on YouTube and other platforms will be amused to learn that they are part of the main stream media.

Wait. Maybe we can only believe such people, and our own eyes on the video and the ship tracking until such time as the MSM agrees with something they say. Then we have to reject all that.

..... formerly near the Wild Turkey
... not to mention that said attack would need to have independent harbor pilots as co-conspirators, plus have an absolutely incredible-luck execution to get the ship to behave the way it did.)

I agree with waiting for a more complete picture before declaring a terrorist attack, but I just gotta say: If that harbor pilot's name contains Muhammed or Hussein, or Ali, or even rhymes with any of those ..... I'm buying more ammo.

Ha, Ha, who am I kiddin - I'm buying more ammo anyway!

One thing is certain, there were 8 guys on that bridge just doing their job’s, probably had zero chance of getting off once they realized something was going terribly wrong.

It’s a miracle 2 lived but I’m sure they will be traumatized by this the rest of their lives.

    Prayers.
God be with them and their families.
Amen. Something we can all agree about.

You don't even see the irony.
Oh I do. None of this has an impact on my life, being hundreds of miles away, so I could frankly care less. Accident or not, our country is under attack - whether from a foreign influence or DEI or the woke agenda...

I just find it humorous and a bit scary, how so many are believing the "official" narrative that it's just an accident...

You act like once a video is posted here, everyone watches it...

Not sure anyone here is doubting the experts in their field or their analysis...

I don't know what happened, but I'm applying Occam's razor and my own SWAG based on my understanding of the physics involved to say that it is highly likely that this was merely a tragic accident.
Where have I said anything about believing MSM hook, line, and sinker? What is it with INGO and straw man arguments lately?
You say you don't know what happened then proceed to tell what happened based off what you heard but what alternative sources say us wrong…

Lot of misinformation and half-truths out there.

Come to your own conclusions, but accident or terrorism, what we are left with is how we prepare ourselves for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th order effects of this. More supply chain disruptions, economic disruption from the supply chain disruptions, government funding for a replacement bridge, etc...

    This is worth viewing:

    This is worth reading:

Diamond has been in close communication with the Association of Maryland Pilots over what unfolded on the Dali cargo ship in the moments leading up to the crash.

“Just minutes before the bridge, there was a total blackout on the ship, meaning that the ship lost engine power and electrical power, it was a complete blackout,” Diamond said.

At that point, according to Diamond, the pilot did “everything that he could have done” to both slow the ship down and keep it from drifting to the right, toward the bridge.

The pilot quickly gave a string of orders, calling for a hard rudder to port — as far left as possible — and for the anchor to be dropped.

Additionally, Diamond said, the pilot was the one who contacted the pilot dispatch office to shut down traffic to the bridge.

“Those were all the appropriate steps but it happened so quickly and with so little lead time ... neither one of those maneuvers were enough,” Diamond said.

Diamond pointed out that while the lights on the boat could be seen turning back on — likely due to an emergency generator activating after the initial blackout — the ship’s engines never got running again.

    Also this:

The FBI has been involved in the investigation from the beginning, said William DelBagno, special agent in charge for the Baltimore field office.

At this time, there is no credible information to link the bridge collapse to terrorism, he said.
