This the end of the perto-dollar is coming as China and Russia consolidate behind a new currency.

Saudia Arabi and other oils companies are moving towards it as well. Once this occurs its game over for us. :(

We will become a 3rd world country currency wise. The only thing aiding our side is our military power and nuclear weapons. Our threath of violence is keeping the world in check.

The more we squeeze the more sand we lose in our grip.

Oh come on....Tangible backed currency is so out of fashion.

Now they are moving on to central bank backed crypto dollars.

I have not yet dug into the details, but If what I "heard" is true the centra state is moving to a different stage.

As I currently understand it, the debt ceiling in this bill is not defined by a dollar amount, but is instead defined by a time line.

If that is true, there is essentially no limit on spending or debt. Such an approach, if true, would be a giant leap to the end of the so called "reserve currency".

Have any of you guys looked into it?

Now that you mention it, that is what I read. It didn't really register

Pres. Biden has claimed that he's fixed the debt before.
So, why are we needing to raise it AGAIN?

    Rhetorical.
    I know.
He really didn't fix the problem. Just him rambling on.

    Not far from the tree
    This isn't like personal debt.

The further they push the debt, the more you pay for it through inflation caused by measures that permit the debt to keep expanding.

If you were to try to fix that, you would cause deflation, which would cause economic destruction beyond your comprehension. The reason why is that the value of people's debt would infinitely expand to the point of bankrupting them. Inflation reduces the value of people's debt, so it's less destructive.

The ideal situation is equilibrium, where the debt matches our economic growth, keeping currency values relatively stable.
How dare you impugn my comprehension. I understand the problem. You fail to present a solution.

Remember that voting for these republicans is better than the alternative…
The saddest thing I see on INGO from true fellow AF/conservatives is the thinking we are in some kind of majority. We are not! We must vote for the best options in the elections, and that all too often is a RINO. The time to make change to get AF/conservatives elected is in the primary.

AF/conservatives don’t work, support, and campaign with urgency for their candidates like they will soon be locked up or shot at…

“There are maybe 15 Republicans Senators committed to the principles they espouse; the rest simply play the role and go along to get along. Beat them or recognize their voters aren’t interested in the same things we are and set about trying to win them over.”

    In the country, hopefully.
They raise it again, and make you pay for it by doubling your grocery bill.

They have no consequences for their actions because everyone is too scared of them to stop the stupidity, so they'll just keep looting you and your children until the end of time.
Meh, the end of time? I dunno, I've got faith that something will happen before the end of time that will change things.
    Don't know what, but something.

Also, sorry for the necro-reply, but it really is the same old song and dance no matter the date.

Just for consolidation purposes, here is Indiana's Congressional delegation. I think this is pretty much a clear priece of evidence regarding who is a member of the uni-party.

Anyone have an option to primary Baird?
