Yup. I put anything like that in my alley on Saturday. Gone on Sunday. Scrappers peruse the alleys for scrap all the time

Here in the country if you put anything by the road with a sign on it that says free you are going to mow around it forever. Put the same thing in the same place by the road with a sign that says $50 or $100 and somebody will steal it that night.
