Don’t people sometimes bury “cache” tubes similar to that? Sometimes when the ground is very wet I’ve heard they can surface. Seems like one end would probably have a removable cap though.

And it would be filthy from being slid up through the dirt. Its not a ridiculous idea, but its too clean to have been buried at one time.

The property manager Nick Echterling replied to my email and answered my question.
"Those are test wells in a ground water monitoring project. They are tested every so often to monitor ground water levels and changes from year to year."
Man - those things look rather chintzy / un-protected to be a part of a groundwater monitoring program.

Chances are good that this is what's down under. https://www.shop-esp.com/4-x-5-PVC-...MImd2QlorR-wIVrXxvBB08sgSMEAQYASABEgLZl_D_BwE

    Wonder how deep they are?

So now that we know what it is, post the coordinates. Then we can get a pissing schedule setup so that we can all take turns peeing down the well. :):

Well, that's the idiotic comment of the day, for INGO.

    Unless you forgot the purple.
You obviously think too highly of yourself to have fun on INGO. I don't use purple as anyone that has read any of my posts, knows I am hardly serious. I try to bring light from the east.

I'm kinda new. Only been here since 2008.

Dude. That was so obviously sarcasm it didnt need purple.

I get the feeling you posted before you got to my suggestion of making a community pee schedule once it was confirmed to be a monitoring well.

    Lighten up, Francis.
