During all of this, watching our medical professionals, not the government drones but the ones we know and trust, follow this junk science off the cliff is most disappointing.
When at the clinic here I often ask the employees when the clinic is going to dump the mask mandate - a surprising number of responses think it might be becoming permanent.

And they wonder why many of us feel betrayed by Pence.

Riiiiight. Blame it on the Trump admin...
Oh I am not blaming the admin, but the people in it who admit they LIED to the president.
The article has quotes from Brix book where she admits to not only out right lying to the president, but silencing anyone who would oppose her.

The fact remains though that Pence was easier for her to manipulate than Trump was,so she used him against Trump. Says it right in her book(and in that article it quotes her book).

This is why, when a possible Trump candidacy do-over is discussed, I want to know what lessons he's learned, what he's going to do differently this time around, and what people he'll surround himself with. I'm not convinced he's learned anything.

Who would you surround yourself with in the same situation? I know I could not answer that question.

I have suggested for over 25 years presidential candidates should now be a team so the public can know who they will be getting…

I could not either, other than people I follow/read/listen to. I'm not running though. He's been there already, he should know. Even if he's not going to name names yet, he can be telling us where his covid response hit the skids and who in his administration and those in the swamp that he allowed him to taken down. He could be telling us the kinds of people he'll consider this time and how they're better than the last bunch. Is he doing that? Or is he still bemoaning being robbed in 2020 and bragging about getting non-working vaccines to market?

My first line would be Dave, Pete, Bill, Colleen, Bob and Chuck.

The University of Louisville Mask Study concluded that the masks did nothing to even slow infection. I have seen other studies that show if you do catch covid, the masks works great to recirculate the virus so it goes deeper and deeper into your lungs. Rather than a light infection that goes away it can become much more severe or even life threatening if you mask and it goes deep. If they worked, we would all be connecting our vehicle exhaust pipes to our air intakes and just never pollute at all. I never wore one by choice, and if required to enter a grocery store I wore the one that had slits cut in it so I could breathe well. Covid virus is 20 nano meters large, the masks sold don't filter down near that tight so it's like putting up a chain link fence to keep out mosquitos.

And this will not stop until we conduct some show trials of our own. As of now, there are no consequences for betraying your president and many benefits (book deals, TV appearances, likely giving paid speeches soon)

Given the rancor a leak of a month or so on what the likely opinion was in Dobbs generated, if you were Trump would you give your detractors/enemies 2 whole years to attack any plans as well as fail to account for the fact conditions on the ground could change between now and then, necessitating a change in plans

Hell, we could be at war with China next week; how do you lay out a plan that accommodates that?
