They really do just want to make the rules so vague that they get to decide on a whim. It's so devious it's disgusting: making the rules vague makes them harder to challenge in court, makes people more scared to do things because they just don't know what's legal or not, and gives the ATF the potential to harass and criminally charge innocent people who had no idea that what they're doing is illegal. It's sick. :wallbash:
Actually being vague is probably what's going to get the law tossed out

I think the pistol brace rule will get tossed for the same reason

Skipped 6 pages of comments. I probably agree with most of what was said already. I'll just add: is this new focus on "ghost guns" an implicit acknowledgement that, despite Beto's proclamation, the left are giving up (for now) on going after scary black guns?

They'll never give up. I think the push against "ghost guns" is being used to achieve a registry and universal background checks. 'We can't track ghost guns' will morph in to 'we can't track private sales' which will morph in to 'close the gun show loophole' which will morph in to 'we need to know where the guns are at so we can stop the bad guy before he uses the gun'. I'll be curious to see just how "ghost" a ghost gun is, meaning if 80% is too closely finished to an actual gun, would 60% percent finished also qualify as a ghost gun? What if it's only 49% finished? Next thing you know steel billet will require background checks.

What's to give up? It cost the left nearly nothing to do their best to chip away at the 2A.

The loinshare of the anti-gun crowd doesn't actually work for a living. They are funded by tax dollars, blackmailed anti-gun corporations, unions and liberal donors.

Tyrannical pieces of **** never give up. The simply recede to their holes in the ground and wait for another opportunity. They are like vipers.

This will be an interesting case to watch.

A suggestion I would like to pass along is that it is worth spending some time looking into the history of gun control in nations around the world. I know we have all seen memes and such on "hitler, the jews, ww2", etc. Look into it a bit deeper.

Here is something that might be used as a start:

It is worth knowing what centralizers view as "reasonable" gun control. It is worth recognizing where these centralizers want to nudge the States to in the long haul....one step at a time. It is worth knowing the history of what prompted 13 colonies to invoke their sovereignty and become 13 independent and sovereign States.

Additionally, though I have often noted it before, I want to state again the atf truly is the scum of the scum. They take an oath to protect and defend the constitution of the States. Then, in my honest opinion, spend their entire career doing all they can to shred it.

Finally, I have been a supporter of the NRA for many many years and will continue to do so. At the same time, I believe it is past time for me to begin supporting GOA as well.

    Liberty is under constant seige.

The atf, like numerous other central state agencies, needs to be abolished.

I really think that this should be another thread, but it fits here: Biden now thinking about going after that dreaded 9mm pistol!!!!!!

Cool! There's a .22 short German revolver for sale in the classies right now. Maybe that's what we should arm the police and military with.
