A reminder that no one should listen to the cops when it comes to civil rights. The police chief of my city, Lafayette, testified against Constitutional Carry. Shortly before his testimony, Pat hired a Nazi and the deputy chief, Bishop, admitted to me that there could be up to a dozen other Nazis on the Lafayette Police Department but he wasn't going to go looking for them.

Why would anyone in the General Assembly listen to a Nazi cop?

Well that is a bit disturbing.

He has his eye on the Senate. Mark my words.

Lotta speculation from WIBC politics folks on this. It's also why Holcomb cannot veto this. No way he can win that seat with NRA and 2A Project F ratings.

My bet is that Holcomb lets it sit on his desk for the 7 days until it becomes law by default. He doesn't veto it, so no F ratings, yet he doesn't sign it to be a hypocrite.

I agree that this is likely what would happen, but I really doubt that vetoing it would earn an "F" NRA grade.

Wonder when it is officially "on his desk" and/or when the count down commences?

I asked these questions in the main thread and I’m still waiting for a clear answer. Reciprocity is more complex than the short answers most give. Thank you to anyone who can bring clarity here:

Can unlicensed residents of other Constitutional Carry states carry here without our state license?

Can unlicensed residents of Indiana carry in other constitutional carry states (with the exception of North Dakota) without their state licenses?
The other states with Con. Carry have specific rules for themselves. It will take some research.

I don't remember which state it was but out-of-staters were NOT included in the passed law.

I wonder if www.handgunlaw.us has this updated.

If he doesn`t sign it, that tells the tale about where he stands, and the "F" rating is entirely appropriate.

Been telling you….the Republican Party (as we knew it) is in Ruin. Too many splits destroyed any chance to honor the platform as we knew and trusted it. Now, it is individual lying politicians that have sold us down the River.

Many Republicans got the vote based on one issue voters and now they are not sure what they stand for. If the RNC can’t decide on a solid platform soon, and stand by it, turn out the lights…..
