The problem, in a nutshell, is that those in power don't want the virus to go away. They want to continue to use it to beat the populace over the head with mandates, idiotic and unproven rules and restrictions and everything else so that they can consolidate power and shape society the way they wish. If they started treating the virus and got rid of it, they would have to go back to their corner and let us live our lives as normal, the absolute last thing they want.

That "debunking" is such bogus. They're calling it false because a person uses basic critical thinking and extrapolation. "The study deals with chickens, not humans, and a herpes virus, not a coronavirus" - seriously? This is so dumb. This "debunking" is basically saying no new ideas, reasoning, or critical thought are allowed. You're not allowed to do research. You're not allowed to draw on historical parallels. You're not allowed to hypothesize or draw comparisons. This is the absolute state of post-hysteria "science
I would imagine that the covid claim is unsupported by a peer review and therefore not "science" per se. Also extrapolation doesn't necessarily work for all vsccines. Smallpox polio herpes yada yada yada

Or to summarize, you may not question the ministry of truth...

Actually, if you want to use the work of others to establish an hypothesis, you are welcome to do so, To use the work of others and state conclusively that their work supports your conclusion when you do no orignial work ain't science.

Looks like we're passing out PhD's to dumbasses.

Can't write any more today. Just had cataract surgery. Will be along when I can see again.

    Dupe... Already posted here:

This post has been proven unassailably correct. This is nothing but a dupe. The OP probably didn't want a dup but INGO delivers...

I know why government is making this complicated. What I can’t understand is why it’s complicated here. There are only two real truths in play here.

    1. Whether you support getting vaccinated or oppose it, EVERYONE should oppose what is a blatant and unconstitutional overreach by this administration. What private business want to require for their employees is a whole separate and more complicated issue but it’s not the one before us. Failing to denounce this suggests to me that one does not have a basic understanding of our constitutional republic or the freedoms it was created to protect. As Jefferson warned us hundreds of years ago, "Was the government to prescribe to us our medicine and diet, our bodies would be in such keeping as our souls are now."

    2. On the issue of vaccinations themselves, if COVID worries you then get the jab. You shouldn’t be judged if you do. This, however is a two way street and the same respect and deference should be given to those that feel differently.

if you disagree with this second assertion then I would ask why you didn’t insist your employer mandated a polio vaccine before this. It’s a disease that is horribly disfiguring, and had a death rate that didn’t require the use of a decimal point. If you're in this camp understand that it rings quite hollow to care about the vaccination status of your fellow man now when you couldn’t be bothered before even though the risks were higher.

You mean that polio vaccine that most of us got before we could consent?
