    I think we've seen that nothing about this virus is bad enough to mandate anything. Except for mandating that we remove members of a certain political party from any and all offices.
    Surprised you limited it to one party. I guess you have supported Holcomb's policies or by a certain political party you mean Republicans?

    You know, you do have a good point, but no I didn't mean Republicans. I will amend my statement to include both parties as it pertains to this subject since there are certainly some Republicans (Holcomb locally, but at least he has an expiration date to his term) that need to be removed as well.

    I stand by my second sentence in general principle though. :stickpoke:;)

    Great video!

    He’s absolutely right.
    Thousands of illegals (many COVID positive) pouring over the Open
    boarder and the pressing matter is putting masks on vaccinated Americans!

    Some claim government is a necessary evil.
    They are half correct.
    It isn't necessary.

    That's the conclusion I've drawn. It's not that Republicans, especially of the chamber-o-commerce or neocon variety are all that swell. It's that democrats have become too ideologically possessed to lead anywhere but off the cliff. Conservatives generally resist moving away from tradition. I think standing still at this point is way preferable to plunging to our doom.

    Holcomb sucks c-o-c ass. Even a c-o-c ass-sucker is a little more than marginally better than a woke ideologue.

    Here's the sane continuum to illistrate.

    d=[D]ouches (AKA democrats)
    c=c-o-c ass-sucker

    insaner <-d----------c-----------------------------------------------------> saner

    That does not imply Holcomb is good. Just that he is less evil.

    ^^^^ Obligatory 'not all [insert group name]s are bad' triangulation post

    JK, is that you?
    I wouldn't say all democrats are equally bad at this point. But they certainly are falling on the wrong end of the continuum of late. If they're not all woke neomarxist ********ers, they're at least carrying water for woke neomarxist ********ers to an extent that enriches themselves.

    Who in the party of [D]ouches is calling out the extremism of the left?

    Well. Tulsi Gabbard. But we know what her standing is among the D's.

    I'm seeing some school districts putting mask requirements back in place for kids. Zionsville schools had a heated meeting last night before the board voted in favor of masking.

    So far my kids' school is still just recommending masks for students, but I've already told my kids we will not comply with this nonsense anymore. Full stop. We are done with the mask theatre, so even if they are required my kids won't be wearing them. This is something I am willing to pull them out of school over if it comes to that.

    I'd really like a court case to be brought if possible so that mask efficacy could be argued in an environment where standards of evidence is very high and where both sides get to bring all the evidence to bear not just cherry-picked to support narratives.

    For example studies that show masks are not effective in enclosed spaces like a classroom setting, because of aerosolized particles easily getting through masks. Sure, if kids are coughing/sneezing they may spread the virus to each other, and then take it home and infect their families. And masks would mitigate spread from that vector. But they're more likely to become infected from 30 kids being huddled together in an enclosed space.

    I suspect that a well ventilated space along with fewer kids in proximity to each other would be way more effective than wearing masks. Also, if any kids are coughing/sneezing, why the **** are they in class?
