I went to Kroger today and totally spaced my mask. I'm in Marion County, so the "mandate" is still in effect and I've been wearing mine in stores. I got all the way to the check out line (had my stuff on the conveyor belt) before I even realized it. It's never felt so weird to be "normal". :): Nobody said anything though. Well, one guy said, "Right on brother!" as I was walking in, but I think that was just because I was open carrying.

Haven't worn a mask thru all of this but its nice to see people finally shedding them. Most of the places up my way have switched their signs from "mask required" to "mask recommended" or have gotten rid of the signs altogether

Well, like I said, in Marion County they're still required, but it was weird feeling suddenly self-conscious about being "normal".

Maybe Menards will wake up and join the rest? Hopefully sooner than later.

Haven't been there since the first time they installed they're draconian policies. (Not just masks, but the whole no kids allowed thing) I was shocked though to see today that walmart removed all signage on masks @ the Portage location

Well, maybe no one said anything about your maskless face BECAUSE you were open carrying. :):

Where are all the environmental Karen’s screaming about impact from used masks discarded in the streets? Seems to me this is way worse than plastic straws, and plastic bottles!
