Ruger LCP 22lr

I’m getting the itch to try another LCP 22lr. I had one of the earlier ones that was a lemon for me. Would love to hear any updated reports from people that have this gun. How’s the reliability now that they have been out for a bit? Thanks

I’ve not shot mine a ton. Maybe 500 rds but have had 100 reliability regardless of ammo

My friend has one and she hasn't had any problems with her LCP 2 22lr. Even breaking it in no failures. She was able to shoot CCI SV also without problems. Also CCI Stingers and several other brands and types.

They make lasers for them now. I'm thinking Laser Max brand trying to recall it on the fly.

Wouldn't any laser designed for an LCP or LCP2 fit?

Here's a sample of the shells mine ran today with no issues . I got this old box of Federal Bulk 550 Pack...and it runs them fine.

Not on a lcp 2 22lr there isn't a rail. It would have to be one that is made just for it.

LCR's are popular for sure, but after having an LCR 22lr, I then went for a Charter Arms Pathfinder 22lr 8-shot snubbie. It has a hammer, but honestly even in double-action I prefer it to the LCR. To each their own, but if you haven't tried one, it may be worth a look.

I’m hoping to shoot mine this more this weekend with some really junk ammo to test it. Glad you were able to find one. They seem pretty hard to find right now

Has not been my experience at all. It’s shot everything I’ve put through it. Small sample size 5-600 rds
